Cllr Joe Duffy

Councillor Joe Duffy has lived in the Colin area for the past 16 years.

He is currently the Chairperson of the Mount Eagles/Lagmore Youth and Community Association.

He is a family orientated person who goes above and beyond for the community that he serves, bringing energy, commitment, and enthusiasm to everything he does.

Joe is employed by the West Belfast Partnership, working in Economic Development, Education, and Neighbourhood Renewal and is also involved in the Transform for Change programme, coordinating, and delivering training in Leadership and Management.

He is also the Project Manager for a Belfast cross-community GCSE Project, overseeing the programme along with partner Post Primary schools across Belfast, and sits on a number of Education groups, working with community organisations as well as Primary and Post Primary schools to tackle educational underachievement.
