Dillon appeals for information after vehicle collision in Clonoe

29 March 2025

Sinn Féin MLA Linda Dillon has appealed for information after a man fled from the scene of a two-vehicle collision in Clonoe village on Friday.

The man was earlier in the day reported to be driving erratically and, upon search of his car, the PSNI found a quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs among other items.

“Thankfully, no one was injured although clearly we could have been looking at a much more serious situation,” said the Mid Ulster MLA.

“I would appeal for anyone with information on this incident or who may know the whereabouts of the individual to give that information to police.

“I also welcome the drug seizure from the vehicle, there is no room for drugs on our streets. Those who cause pain and misery to families through drug dealing in our community must be held accountable to the law.”
