Cllr Alex Duffy

Alex Duffy is a community activist with over 20 years’ experience.

He is the chair of Strathfoyle Community Association, founder of the Enagh Community Collective, and a member of the Strathfoyle & Maydown Safety forum. He played a role in the delivery of the Strathfoyle Play Park and the Strathfoyle greenway, connecting rural communities to the city.

As a youth worker, Alex works with marginalized young people.

Mental healthcare is a priority for Alex, and he has been involved in various projects and charity fundraisers for many years.

He will continue working hard to empower communities to reach their full potential, campaign for better facilities, jobs, opportunities, and better access to mental healthcare services in rural communities.
