Cllr. Leanne Peacock

Leanne Peacock was elected to Causeway Coast and Glens Council in 2019. Born and raised in Rasharkin, educated at St. Patricks Pri- mary School, Rasharkin, Loreto College Coleraine Leanne graduated from Ulster University with an Honours Degree in Irish History and Politics.

She is passionate about her local area and has an impressive record of hard work and delivery for constituents within this area. Leanne is Sinn Féin’s Group Leader on the council, she currently sits on the Planning Committee and has been Chairperson of Council’s Finance Committee. She also proposed and worked to establish Causeway Coast and Glens first ever Woman’s Committee, which she chairs, to champion woman’s rights and representation issues within local government.
