Cllr Nuala McLernon
Nuala McLernon, a lifelong republican and Sinn Féin activist, has been working full time in Sinn Féin since 2005, including with Michelle Gildernew MP, during her time as Agriculture Minister.
She currently works as a Sinn Féin political advisor in the Assembly.
Born and raised in Coalisland, Nuala’s interest in politics came from her father, a well-known civil rights campaigner and republican activist.
Educated at St. Joseph’s High School, St. Patrick’s Academy, and the University of Ulster, Nuala is committed to delivering for the local community, attracting investment and boosting the local economy to provide jobs and opportunities for our young people.
Nuala is a strong voice for the people of Coalisland town and the Torrent electoral area.
